Patricia Rowe, PhD, a founding member of RDA Brisbane, was appointed Deputy Chair in January 2015 and Chair in March 2018. She entered academic life after a 20 year career in management. Patricia has been a lecturer in management at the University of Queensland Business School, teaching in areas related to organisational behaviour, leadership, change management, strategic human resource management, knowledge management, innovation and creativity.
Patricia has served as Chair of the School Research Ethics Committee. Her research interests relate to the human factors around innovation. Her multi-level approach examines these issues at regional, organisational, group and individual levels of analyses. She has 70 research publications and has published a number of book chapters, refereed journal articles and has presented her work at premier international and national management conferences, including the American Academy of Management, International Council of Small Business, European Group of Organisational Studies and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management.
