Supporting small business and creating 'crazy ideas' has been a journey for Nathan Schokker as he embarked on creating his own businesses following time with a family business in Brisbane. One such business, SafeCo, sees Nathan hit the red dirt roads more often than not supporting industries and businesses taking giant leaps forward with their technology improvements through contact tracing, ticketing, data analytics amongst a range of others.
When back in 'town' he’s the current President of the Brisbane Junior Chamber of Commerce (BJCC), Australia’s preeminent community of young professionals and business owners. Nathan’s time with the BJCC has been all about building a community of young professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs so that they can create a network and help one another. Nathan is also on a range of other committees and at the height of the pandemic championed the 'Local As Qld' campaign bringing together and empowering locally-based Chambers of Commerce across Queensland to help amplify local tourism.
