RDA Brisbane CEO Nicole Duguid was proud to MC the panel at the recent Brisbane 2032 Leadership Event held at the North Lakes Hotel, bringing together business leaders, chambers of commerce and regional stakeholders for an engaging discussion on leadership, resilience and the opportunities Brisbane 2032 will create across Queensland.
The event was a collaborative initiative between the Greater Caboolture Chamber of Commerce, Pine Rivers Chamber of Commerce and Business Chamber North Lakes, demonstrating the strong regional partnerships helping local businesses prepare for the opportunities ahead.
A sincere thank you to organisers Nick Steiner and Dominique Lamb for delivering such a valuable and well-attended event for the Moreton Bay business community.
Attendees heard inspiring insights from Olympic champions including keynote speaker Anna Meares, alongside panellists Cate Campbell, Brendan Hall and Dominique Lamb. The discussion explored the importance of adaptability, preparation, resilience and high performance — qualities that are equally critical in sport, business and regional leadership. Speakers reflected on performing under pressure, navigating change and building long-term success, with strong parallels drawn between elite sport and today’s evolving business environment.
With Brisbane 2032 set to reshape the region’s infrastructure and economy, the event also highlighted the significant opportunities available for local businesses and industries willing to prepare early and position themselves for growth.
