RDA Brisbane strengthens leadership team for the year ahead

RDA Brisbane has welcomed the new financial year with a series of key leadership and staffing appointments, strengthening the organisation's capacity to deliver on its Strategic Plan 2026–2030 and support regional growth across Queensland.

Effective from 1 July, Allan Morton has been appointed Deputy Chair of the Board. Allan brings extensive governance and leadership experience, along with a strong commitment to regional development, and will work alongside Chair Kieren Dell to help guide the organisation's strategic direction.

Also commencing on 1 July, Tony Eyres has been appointed Treasurer. With significant financial and governance expertise, Tony will play an important role in supporting RDA Brisbane's continued growth and impact. Kathlene Jones will continue in her role as Secretary, providing ongoing governance support and continuity for the Board. The Board also acknowledged the outstanding contribution of outgoing Treasurer Terri Cooper, thanking her for her professionalism and stewardship over the past 11 months. Terri will continue to serve as a valued Board Director.

RDA Brisbane has also welcomed Matt Dale as Executive Coordinator. Working closely with CEO Nicole Duguid, Matt will support Board operations, governance, stakeholder engagement and organisational coordination, helping strengthen the organisation's ability to deliver its strategic priorities.

With these appointments, RDA Brisbane enters the 2026–27 financial year fully staffed and well positioned to build on its momentum. Supported by a strong leadership team and Board, the organisation is well placed to foster collaboration, attract investment and create opportunities that drive sustainable economic development across regional Queensland.
