Building Better Regions Fund Info Sessions: 5 & 7 December
RDA Brisbane will be holding information sessions on Round Two of the Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) on Tuesday 5 and Thursday 7 December.
Not-for-profit organisations and Councils can benefit from information provided by the RDA on the guidelines, and how to prepare a strong application.
The Infrastructure Projects Stream of BBRF supports projects which involve the construction of new infrastructure, or the upgrade or extension of existing infrastructure that provide economic and social benefits to regional and remote areas.
The Community Investments Stream funds new or expanded local events, strategic regional plans, and leadership and capability strengthening activities to deliver economic and social benefits to regional and remote communities.
Note that project eligibility boundaries for BBRF have changed since Round One, and projects located in an excluded area (generally capital cities and their perimeters), may be eligible if they can clearly demonstrate significant benefits and employment outcomes which flow directly into an eligible area.
Applications for both streams close 19 December 2017.
