RDA Brisbane hosts Queensland Hydrogen Industry Cluster (H2Q) launch at Parliament House
The Queensland Hydrogen Industry Cluster (H2Q) was launched on 23 March at Queensland Parliament House by State Minister for Energy, Renewables and Hydrogen, the Hon Mick De Brenni MP and H2Q Chair, Aurelia Noran.
Hosted by RDA Brisbane on behalf of the cluster, the sold-out event was attended by 170 guests from industry, government and research organisations. Leigh Kennedy, the National Hydrogen Industry Cluster Manager for NERA (National Energy Resources Australia), provided an overview of the national cluster network and strategy, and outlined how H2Q - seed-funded by the Australian Government - will provide a critical link for Queensland into national and international activities and opportunities.
RDA Brisbane now looks forward to the Queensland Government partnering and supporting this cluster, in line with the support provided by other State Governments who have contributed matching funding to their hydrogen clusters.
