RDA Brisbane accounces new Board members

Regional Development Australia Brisbane (RDA Brisbane) has recently successfully completed its recruitment process and appointed eight new Board Members, including two previously appointed to casual vacancies.

The new Board is made up of representatives from various industries and backgrounds from across Queensland, all with strong connections to Queensland’s regions and dedicated to their ongoing economic development.

“I am pleased to welcome all of the new members to the RDA Brisbane Board and congratulate them on their appointment, given the high-calibre interest in these roles,” said Kieren Dell, Chair of RDA Brisbane.

“The addition of these new Board Members provides RDA Brisbane with broad representation across our geographical footprint and they come with deep experience and contacts across many different organisations and government departments. I look forward to working together, along with our regional RDA network, to continue to support a resilient and vibrant regional Queensland.”

The new Board Members are:

  • Wendy Agar (Founder & Principal Consultant, Engaged Outcomes)
  • Mitch Amidy (Director of Sales and Marketing, Emus Talking)
  • John Anderson (Chair, RDA Central and Western Queensland – Ex Officio for 12 month term)
  • Greg Ewing (State Manager QLD, AICD)
  • Tony Eyres (Founder & Principal – Rounding Up Pty Ltd)
  • Allan Morton (Founder and Director of WayPoint Strategies).

The continuing Board members who have been re-confirmed following their earlier appointments to casual vacancies are:

  • Terri Cooper (Small Business Adviser, Former Board member of RDA Logan & Redlands, President of Brisbane Southside Chamber of Commerce)
  • Kathlene Jones (Founder and CEO, Prader-Willi Research Foundation Australia).
